I am not done reading this book...maybe half way through and I can't put it down. I have read most of LRJ's books and they do not disappoint. I love the push and pull of Jacob and Jewel and the intensity they have. Good suspense, action, and of course the love story as well. If you haven't read her books, I highly recommend you do. A little suspense, action, love and passion...its a great mix.
Not sure I'm reading the same book as everyone else. So far I'm tired of Jewel, and I find all the back and forth chit chat tiring. BORED!! Will come back with final review once I have finished, so far, slooooooooow going. sigh
*****************************************************************************************************************************************************************Ok. so I finally finished this "book", and have to say the 2 stars remain, only because I don't like to give 1 star !!! But in this case, I could not stand Jewel, and after a while didn't care for Jacob either! This only got worse once they had sex ( focused more on them and sex and who is more dominant). The dirty cop, I knew who that was. The "stalker? yep, knew this after her calls to meet. Jesse..... why keep bringing him up only to give him a WHOLE PAGE of Jacob explaining. And THE STALKER, YOU COULDN'T DO BETTER WITH HOW EASY HE FOLDED AND THEN BRAGGED AFTERWARDS!! REALLY? AND MISS RIGHTEOUS JEWEL WITH HOW SHE ACTED WITH JACOB WHEN HE GOT THE CONFESSION? I COULD SEE THIS IF HE HAD JUST SHOT THE MAN LIKE HE WANTED, BUT HE DIDN'T, HE IN FACT SOLVED HER FLIPPING CASE !!! Once he leaves, now she says she loves him !!!! LOL YEP.... I AM DONE !!
Another win for Lisa Renee Jones. I have yet to read anything by her that I didn't like and this was no exception. It is definitely a MUST READ!

This is the third book in the Walker Security Series. All of which can be read as a standalone. But I highly suggest reading all three. I was on the edge of my seat and read this book in one sitting. I was torn, I couldn't wait to find out what happens but didn't want to see it end.

Jewel and Jacob were such a great couple and their story is not one that I will forget quickly.
Detective Jewel Capenter was a hard working cop, The knew her as Lil C because her uncle was Big C and was just murder working on case. Then she received a note that said "you are not ready yet" after her uncles death and she use this note to become the best detective she could.

Then she met ex-special ops Jacob King in her fathers office who actual brought her the coffee and her favorite cookies that she left due to her fathers call to come immediately. Who knew she was being followed for 3 days and never knew, she was a detective and was suppose to know these things, she was pissed at her father. However, death threat letters start coming and her father was afraid for her safety. He had already lost a brother and was not going to lose his only daughter also.

Jewel notice Jacob was ruggedly handsome, tall, fit and had a masculine smell that drove her crazy. Jacob had already been following Jewel and knew her and no other woman had drove him crazy or distracted him like this before. Once Jacob had Jewel in his bed he was determined not to ever let her go. It was suppose to be a simple protection until they decide to come together and handle the case together, only then with the help of Walker Security clan did all evidence started to make since
In 2017, I discovered Lisa Renee Jones’ work. I couldn’t get enough! I tried to get my hands on any and everything that she wrote.

I totally stumbled into her Walker Security series. Mad, mad love for this series!!! Her Walker Security series is a spin off A Tall, Dark and Deadly series. Full disclosure, I have not read A Tall, Dark and Deadly series. But know that you do not have to read that series to enjoy Falling Under at all. Falling Under read as a complete standalone. That being said, it makes me want to go back and read not only A Tall, Dark and Deadly but the Walker Series as well (in a row).

Jewel Carpenter is a murder detective who starts receiving death threats. She finds herself in need of protection. Enter in Jacob King. (Side note, Jacob made me swoon!) Jewel hates having protection!! She and Jacob have a love/ hate relationship. I loved their push/ pull. It led to amazing chemistry. It was H-O-T! The way that Jacob handled Jewel was fun to read for sure.

What I love about this book is the mystery/ adventure mixed in with an amazing love story. Lisa Renee Jones has a way with her words that keep you on the edge of your seat. You are forced to keep turning page after page until you have devoured her books in one sitting. Falling Under is one of these books that just captivated me. It has been a few months since I have read this book and I can remember every single detail.
